Cut out the poster board parts with scissors.
Turn the sock inside out and glue on the two parts of Pato’s mouth with a glue gun, the roundest part at the top where your fingers will go, and the more triangular part pointing toward the heel. The closest edges of the two parts should be glued one to the other. Allow the parts to cool down and turn the sock outside in again.
Cut out the rest of the parts from the template.
Outline the parts on the adhesive felt according to the color scheme indicated on the template.
Cut out the parts from the felt.
Attach the pink tongue onto the triangular, orange part of the mouth; the yellow ribbon onto the green hat; and the black pupils onto the white eyes. Use the template as a guide.
Now attach the parts onto the sock. Begin by attaching the triangular part of the mouth onto the lower part of the hard (because of the poster board inside) mouth. Attach the beak onto the outside; then the eyes onto the beak and the hat above the eyes.
