Draw a pair of bat ears on the back of one of the plates, and its back on the other.

Paint the bat’s silhouette on the plate with black poster paint. Let dry.

Draw one bat’s wing with a white pencil on the black EVA foam.

Cut out the bat’s wing with scissors.

Outline the wing that you’ve cut out on the EVA foam so you have another just like it.

Draw two eyes on the white EVA foam.

Cut out the eyes with scissors.

Draw the pupils of the eyes with a permanent marker.

Make sure the paint has dried, and cit away the unpainted parts of the two plates.

Gluing
Glue a wing on each side of the bat, putting some liquid silicone on the inside edge of each plate so that the wings are trapped between them.

Gluing
Glue the eyes into place beneath the ears.

Insert
Sew one plate to the other passing a needle with wool thread around the entire edge. Make the stitches long, beginning above one of the wings and tying a knot and finishing above the other wing.

Tying off
Pass the wool from where you finished sewing to the point where you began and tie a knot at each end. Leave about 40 or 50 cm of thread between them to create a handle.
