1
Cut
Print the downloadable template and cut it in half; choose the character you would like to make a stamp of.
2
Outling
Place the template of the figure you chose on a sheet of EVA foam of the same size. Trace all the black lines with a colored pencil. Be sure to press hard to mark the foam below. Remove the paper.
3
Redrawing
Redraw with the same pencil the lines you marked on the foam so that you can see them better.
4
Cut Out
If you chose Pajarito, with the scissors cut out the outline of the figure and his eye sockets, beak and tongue. If you chose Valentina, cut out her outline and the whites of her eyes and her cheeks.
5
Etching
Draw in the remaining lines of the characters, so that they leave grooves in the foam. The stamp is now ready.
6
Color
Choose the colors you’re going to use and dip the brush or roller in the paint (mixed with a little water). Apply the paint to the stamp with the brush or roller. Remember to protect your work surface from paint drips!
7
Print
Print the stamp on poster paper and repeat as often as you please. You can change colors and make a mosaic. Besides tempera, you can use fabric paint to decorate t-shirts or handbags with your stamps…
