Drawing
Fold the large piece of green felt in half along its length. With a white wax crayon draw half a Christmas tree so that the center of the tree coincides with the folded edge. Make it as large as you like to fit the area of the wall where you want to hang it.

Cut Out
Without unfolding the felt, cut out the tree along the lines you drew. When you finish, unfold the felt and voilá, you’ll have a complete tree.

Assembly
Create decorations for your tree by attaching colored pieces of adhesive felt onto cut-out shapes of normal felt. You can make snow balls, snowmen or women, snowflakes, stars, presents…

Fastening together
Attach a small strip of smooth (the loop part) adhesive Velcro on the back of each decorative figure you created. Put them aside for the moment.

Fastening together
Cut out pieces of rough (the hook part) adhesive Velcro and attach them all over the tree. Put one at the top and others along the branches, at the base and in the middle.

Cut Out
Print the downloadable templates and cut out the pieces making up each character.

Outlining
Outline each piece on the corresponding color of felt, following the color-scheme on the template. Make sure that the bottom layer of each figure is cut from normal felt, while the rest of the layers should be cut from self-adhesive felt.

Cut Out
Cut out the pieces with scissors.

Assembly
Assemble each of the characters by attaching one part on top of the other according to the drawing on the template.

Drawing
Draw in the eyes and other features with a black permanent marker.

Fastening together
Cut a piece of smooth (looped) adhesive Velcro and attach it to the back of each character.
Now all you have to do is hang the tree on the wall and attach all the decorations you created!
