June is National Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Month. Pocoyo and his friends love eating fresh fruit and vegetables and want you to eat these healthy snacks, too! Did you know that you should eat at least 3 servings of vegetables and 2 servings of fruit every day? That may sound like a lot, but here’s what Pocoyo and his friends do.
Pocoyo has fruit juice in the morning as part of his healthy breakfast and enjoys a piece of fresh fruit, like an apple or grapes, with his lunch in the afternoon. Pocoyo also likes to snack on carrots or celery stuffed with peanut butter. For dinner, Pocoyo like to mix different vegetables together, like broccoli and cauliflower, and sprinkle cheese on top. Yummy! He also likes zucchini bread for dessert. That’s 3 vegetables and 2 fruits!!
Visit Pocoyo on Facebook and tell him how you mix fruits and vegetables into your daily diet.
Today is a special day that parents get very excited about. Yes, it’s Clean Up Your Room Day! Pocoyo and his friends try to keep their rooms neat and tidy. But sometimes, when they’re having so much fun dancing and singing and playing, things get a little messy. Pocoyo’s friends always help him clean up, though.
In fact, Fred is a very big helper because he can clean up eight times as fast as the others. Elly always reminds Pocoyo and his friends where everything belongs and before you know it, Pocoyo’s room is neat and tidy again. Give your parents a big surprise today by making sure you put away all your toys and clothes before they can ask you to do it. They sure will be happy!
